The Bay of Balos is popular for its stunning waters and breath-taking views. During the 1-hour boat trip, you will have the chance to visit the pirate island of Gramvousa. You will admire the impressive landscape composed of steep rocks and hills, endless blue waters and little hidden beaches. If you fancy a hike to see the Old Venetian Fort then bring your walking shoes but if you fancy something a little more relaxed, why not take a dip in the calm crystal waters of the bay below. Gramvousa and Balos are one of a kind nature reserves and for this reason, they are in the European network NATURA 2000. One of the most compelling attractions of Balos is the beautiful sandy beach, the clear turquoise water of the sea as well as the stunning natural surroundings. In the lagoon of Balos, here is where you’ll have the chance to relax for a few hours, purchase drinks snacks and beach accessories. On returning to the ship why not grab something to eat in the bar or restaurant and then relax as you travel back to the port of Kissamos where we’ll be waiting for you.
