Argyroupoli (previously Ancient Lappa) is a well-preserved village with natural springs and many Venetian mansions that are still residential. Inside and around the village are excavated parts of the ancient city of Lappa, Roman remains, Venetian buildings with beautiful doorways and Byzantine churches.
It is the only natural lake on the island. You can relax on a sun lounger or explore the lake by renting parasols or pedal boats. Ιn this beautiful location you will feel truly at peace.
Vamos is a village in the prefecture of Chania, that retains the authentic culture of the traditional Cretan village. Old mansions, mostly of the past century, have been restored or been renovated, retaining the elements of folk and neo-classical architecture.
